ORDINANCE N0. 846
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYN1n1O0D, ADIENDING CHAPTER XVI,
SECTION 16.56, OF ORDINANCE N0. 570, AS
AMENDED.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
ordain as follows:
Section 1. That Chapter XVI, SECTION 16.56 of
Ordinance 570 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"16.56. The following uses may be .permitted
without the necessary advertising and posting.•required for
hearings when such uses are deemed by the City Council to
be essential and/or desirable to the public convenience
and welfare and not contrary to the General Plan or its
objectives.
Governmental facilities.
Public Utilities Structures.
And such uses as the Planning Commission may deem
to be similar but not more obnoxious and equally essential
to serve the public welfare."

The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to
certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the
same to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper
of general circulation, printed, published, and circulated
in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council
of said city held on the 21st day of May 1968, and finally
adopted and ordered published at a regular meeting of said
council held on the 5th day of Junelg68, by the following
vote:;`
