AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYDTWOOD ANIENDINC
DIVISION 1, ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 20 OF THE
LYNWOOD CITY CODE TO ADD A NEW SECTIOTQ THERETO
THAT IS, SECTION 20.81-2 TO PROVIDE A BUSIDIESS
LICENSE PEE OF $100.00 PER YEAR .FOR "ON-SALE"
LIQUOR BUSINESSES,, AND AMEbiD1NG SEC`1'ION 20.67
OF THE LYNWOOD CITY CODE TO INCREASE THE FEES
IN CERTAIN INSTANCES WHERE 7:'HF; FEE IS BASED
UPON THE NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES.
The City Council does ordain:
Section 1, llivision 1, Article II of Chapter 20 0£
the Lynwood City Code is hereby amended to add Section 20.81-2
thereto which shall provide as follows:
"On-sale liquor establishments. The license .fee for
each person, firm, partnership or corporation carrying on or
conducting an on-sale alcoholic beverage business shall be
$100 per year. If the licensee is conducting an additional
business in the same premises licensed by the State of California
for an on-sale alcoholic beverage business, including, but not
limited to, a restaurant, the on-sale business license fee of
$100 shall include the restaurant or other business and no
additional business license fee shall be payable therefor as long
during such time as said licensee has 31 or more employees
(whether they are employed in the on--sale alcoholic beverage
branch of the business, or in the restaurant or Daher business,
cr i.n b,oth), said licensee shall pay such business license fee
as is provided in Section 20.67 of this Code for 31 or more
employees."
Sect-ion 2. Section 20.67 of the Lynwood City Code is
an;ended to read as follows:

"Manufacturing, retailing, wholesaling, etc.
businesses at fixed locations, license fee based upon number of
persons employed. Every person managing, conducting or carrying
on any manufacturing, retailing, wholesaling business, profession
or any business at a fixed location as an established or permanent
business, and unless otherwise specifically covered in this
chapter, shall pay a license fee based upon the number of persons
employed at the business. The number of persons employed shall
be construed to include all owners, part owners, officers, part-time
employees, agents, solicitors, peddlers and regular employees. The
license fee shall be based upon a six month average of the number
employed, as follows:
One employee, fifteen dollars per year.
Two employees, twenty dollars per year.
Three employees, twenty-five dollars per year.
Four employees, thirty dollars per year.
Five to seven employees, forty dollars per year.
Eight to twelve employees, fifty dollars per year.
Thirteen to tvaenty employees, seventy--five dollars per year.

More than fifty employees, two hundred dollars per year."
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective beginning
with the calendar year lg6g.
Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed and ordered to
certify to the passage of this ordinance, and to cause the same to be
published in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed and circulated in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on the lgth day of December, 1967, and finally adopted
-and ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held on
the 2nd day of January, 1968, by the following vote:
