RESOLUTION NO. 81 -1975
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING A MEMBER
OF SAID COUNCIL OF SAID CITY TO THE RTD CITY
SELECTION COMMITTEE PURSUANT TO PART 3 OF
DIVISION 10.0F THE PUBLIC UTILITIES CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the Southern California Rapid
Transit District Law, being Part 3 of Division 10 of the Public
Utilities Code, Louis W, Merritt , a member of said City Council,
is hereby appointed as a member of the RTD City Selection Committee,
with William I. Dennis , a member of said City Council as alternate.
SECTION 2. That the within Resolution shall become effective
and the appointment . made by Section 1 hereof shall be .effective as
of April 21, 1981.
SECTION 3, That immediately after the effective date of the
appointment made hereby, the City Clerk shall, without delay, forward
a certified copy of the Resolution to the Secretary of the Southern
California Rapid Transit District,
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, shall cause the action of the City Council in
adopting the same to be entered in the official minutes of said
City Council and shall retain this Resolution, duly signed and
executed by the proper City officials, in the Official records of
said City..
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of April, 1981.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted
by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting
held on the 21st day of April, 1981, by the following vote of Council:
AYES: Councilmen- Atkins, Dennis, Gillanders, Tyrell, Merritt
NOES : Councilmen- None
ABSENT: Councilmen- None
