Leesburg Trash Collection Schedule for Thanksgiving Holiday
Leesburg, VA (November 17, 2014) – There will be no trash, recycling or yard waste collection
in the Town of Leesburg on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2014.
On Friday, November 28, 2014, residential customers in the Northeast and Northwest
quadrants of Town (includes North King Street) will have trash, recycling and yard waste
collected.
Residential customers in the Southeast and Southwest quadrants of Town (includes South King
and West Market Street) will have trash, recycling and yard waste collected on Saturday,
November 29, 2014.
For curbside commercial customers, there will be no trash or recycling collection on Thursday,
November 27, 2014. Trash and recycling will be collected for curbside commercial customers on
Friday, November 28, 2014. Saturday collections will take place as normal.
Bulk item collection will be on Friday, November 28, 2014, as usual. However, due to the
Thanksgiving Holiday, the deadline for placing items on the collection list will be 12:00pm on
Wednesday, November 26, 2014. All requests for bulk item pick-up must be received prior to
12:00pm on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 to be on Friday’s list for collection.
As a reminder, the Leesburg Town Offices will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and Friday,
November 28, 2014 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
