ORDINANCE N0. 834
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNGdOOD AMENDING
SECTIOIQ 31..12 OF THE CITY CODE ESTABLISHIIQG A
NEW RATE FOR WATER SERVICE CONNECTION CHARGES
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby ordain
as follows:
Section 1: In order to more equitably and accurately levy
a charge for water service connections, Section 31.12 of the Lynwood
City Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
Application for water service shall be accompanied by a
service connection charge in the amount specified as follows:
Flat rate service, 3/4" -- $25.00
A flat rate may be furnish for 3/4" connection only for
residential use.
All. commercial, industrial, and irrigation uses and all uses
.for other than 3/4" connections, shall be charged as follows:

-- $250.00
-- $330.00.
Meters and services larger than 2" in size and services
enlarged shall be paid for by the customer at cost plus 15% for
overhead. Cost, as estimated by the Water Department, must be
deposited in advance, with final adjustment of charges. to be made
upon completion of installation and prior to turn-on of water.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said city held on the 15th day of August, 197, and finally adopted
and ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held on
the 5th day of September, 1967, by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Byork, Green, Siokos, Smith, STevens.
Noes: Councilmen None:
Absent: Councilmen None.
