AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 2000 -4, AN ORDINANCE
DESIGNATING STOP INTERSECTIONS
WHEREAS, I.C. 9- 21 -1 -3 grants the City of Greencastle the authority to designate intersections
intersections, which require all vehicles to stop at one or more of the entrances to the intersections;
WHEREAS, said statute requires the adoption of an ordinance designating stop intersections;
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle adopted Ordinance 20004 An Ordinance Designating Stop
ctions setting out all stop intersections within the City of Greencastle, and has amended it in
races 2002 -18, 2004 -37; 2007 -9; 2008 -11; and 2008 -12; and
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle has determined that stop signs are warranted at the locations
)elow, and wishes to amend the Ordinance to confirm the addition of those intersections.
THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of
;astle, Indiana:
That Ordinance 2000 -4 An Ordinance Designating Stop Intersections, as previously
amended, is hereby further amended to add the following stop intersection for the City of
Greencastle on the street listed below:
Street - -Sign Location Intersecting Street Number of Stop Signs
South Street/C.R. 200 S. Zinc Mill Road
That all other intersections designated in Ordinance 2000 -4, as amended, remain in full force and
ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana this
