AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD SETTING A TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC
H~ARING ON THE VACATION OF SANTA FE AVENUE ON
PORTIONS OF LOTS 2 AND 3 OF THE SUBDIVISION
OF THE J. J. BULLIS 76.11 ACRE TRACT.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does ordain
as follows:
1. A public hearing on the question of the vacation
of Santa Fe Avenue will be held pursuant to law in the Lynwood
City Hall on August 3, 1965, at 7:30 p.m.
2. The proposed vacation involves those portions of
Lots 2 and 3 of the Subdivision of the J. J. Bullis 76.11 acre
tract, as shown on map recorded in Book 55, page 28, Miscellaneous
Records of the County of Los Angeles, within a strip of land 100
feet wide, lying 50 feet on each side of the following described
centerline:
Beginning at a point in the southerly line
of said Lot 3 which is North 82° 38' 3011 East 575.15 feet
from the southwesterly corner of said last mentioned lot;
thence North 7° 28' 35" West 812.70 feet to the southerly
line of Imperial Highway.
3• The proposed vacation of the surface street will
have no effect on existing sub-surface easements. Water,sewer,
and drain easements shall remain in full force and effect should
this City Council vacate the above described portion of Santa Fe
Avenue.
The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to certify
to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same to be published
once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation printed
and published in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said city held on the lst day of June, 1965, and finally adopted
and ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held
on the 15th day of June, 1965, by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Ham, McMillan, Siokos, Smith.
Noes: Councilmen: None.
Absent: Councilmen: Duncan.
