ORDINANCE N0. 773
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING
SECTION 20.81-1 OF THE LYNWOOD CITY CODE TO
REDUCE THE LICENSE FEE OF COIN OPERATED WASH-
ING MACHINES AND TO ELIMINATE THE MAXIMUM FEE
FOR ANY ONE LOCATION.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does ordain as
£ollovrs :
Section l. That Section 20.81-1 of the Lynwood City Code
is amended to read as follows:
"The license fee for coin operated wash machines, dryers
or other home appliances placed in apartment buildings, motels,
hotels, and mobile home parks, for the use of the tenant, shall be
$2.00 per year per machine."
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed
to certify to the passage of this ordinance, and to cause the same to
be published in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed and circulated in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on the 20th day of April, 1965, and finally adopted and
ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held on the
4th day of May, 1g65, by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Duncan. Ham, McMillan Siokos Smith
Noes: Councilmen None.
Absent: Councilmen nr.,ro
