ORDINANCE No. 770
ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15 OF LYNWOOD CITY
CODE TO ADD ARTICLE III ENTITLED "WASTE COLLECTORS,"
The City Council o£ the City of Lynwood does hereby
ordain as follows:
Section l. The Lynwood City Code is amended to add
Article III to Chapter 15, as follows:
"ARTICLE III
'~Section 15.50. Containers -- Commercial and Industrial.
"Every waste collector who owns, rents or controls any
container, bin, or other equipment used for the storage of garbage,
industrial waste, market refuse, or rubbish shall:
"(a) place and maintain on the outside o£ such container
bin or other equipment, in legible letters and numerals,
not less than one inch in height, such waste collectorAs
name or firm name and telephone number.
'~(b) At all times keep in good repair and maintain in a
clean and sanitary condition such container, bin or
other equipment to the satisfaction of the Health
Officer.
"Section 15.51. Prohibition.
"A person other than the waste collector having charge thereof
shall not deface, alter, remove or obliterate any identification placed
on any container, bin, or other equipment pursuant to the provisions
of this article.
"Section 15.52. Tampering.
'~A person not having the authority to do so sha11 not tamper
with, injure, destroy, or remove any container, bin, or other equipment
used for the storage of garbsge, industrial waste, market refuse, or
rubbish."
Section 2. The City Clerk is to certify to the passage of
this ordinance, and to cause the same to be published. once in the

Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and pub-
lished in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said city held on the 2nd day of March , 1965, and finally
adopted and ordered. published at a regular meeting of said Council
held on the 16th day of March , 1g65, by the following vote:
