AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 11.76 OF TFiE LYNWOOD
CITY CODE.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood. does ordain as
follows:
Section 1. That Section 11.76 of the Lynwood City Code
shall be amended to read as follows;
"Section 11.76. Same--Sched.ule of amounts required for
issuance of permit and for specific types of work.
"Before any permit is granted for the installation or
alteration of electrical equipment, the person making the application
for the permit shall pay to the city clerk a fee in the amount
specified. below:
"~or issuing permits ~2,00
Each outlet, switch and fixture .10
Flourescent Fixture, each 4E0"or fraction thereof .10
Utility Outlets (range, oven, hoods, fans,
heaters, etc. .50
Each motor of not more than 1/2 Horsepower .25
Each motor of more than 1/2 horsepower but not
more than 2 horsepower .50
Each motor of more than 2 horsepower but not
more than 5 horsepower 1.00
Each motor of more than 5 horsepower but not
more than 15 horsepower 1.50
Each motor o£ more than 15 horsepower but not
more than 50 horsepower 2,50
Each motor of more than 50 horsepower but not
more than 200 horsepower 5.00
Each motor of more than 200 horsepower 10.00
Each motor generator, transformer or welder
each KVA shall be considered 1 horsepower
Fee for moving shall be same as new installation.
Each service 2.00
Each mercury arc lamp and equipment 1.50
Each X-Ray
2.00
Each projection machine 1 5~

Electric signs 1 to 4 transformers $1.00
Electric signs 5 or more transformers, each ,25
Each incandescent electric sign 1.00
Temporary working or yard lights 2.00
For each extra inspection made necessary due
to £aulty materials or workmanship 3.00
For inspeetion of electrical equipment for
which no fee is herein prescribed, per
hour for time consumed 10.00."
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed
to certify to the passage of this ordinance, and to cause the same to
be published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circu-
lation printed and published in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
city held on the 17th day of November, ig64, and final]y ad.opted and
ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held on the
lst day of December, 1964, by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Duncan, Ham, Siokos, Smith.
Noes: Councilmen None.
Absent;Councilmen McMillan.
