AN ORDTNANCE AMENDING THE LYNWOOD CITY CODE BY
ADDING THERETO SECTIONS 20.65-1, 20.66-1, 20.66-2,
20.71-1 AND 20.81-1, AND REpEALING SECTION 20,118
OF SAID CODE,
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does ordain as
follows:
Section 1. That Chapter 20 of the Lynwood City Code is
amended by adding thereto the following sections, to read as follows:
"Section 20.65-1. The license fee shall be $15,00 per year
per vehicle, as defined by the Vehicle Code, for every person conducting,
managing or carrying on the business of gardener, yard maintenance or
mowing or edging o£ laws.
"Section 20.66-1, For every person managing, conducting or
carrying on the business of a boarding home, home for ~he aged, day
nursery, private day school, or any similar enterprise with the
facilities for the care of six or more persons, the license fee shall
be as set £orth in Section 20.67 of the Lynwood City Cod.e.
"Section 20.66-2. Mobile Home Parks, The license fee shall
be $25.00 per year for every person managing, conducting or carrying
on the business of operating a mobile home park where facilities are
furnished, either temporarily or permanently, for the parking of
trailers that are intended to be used as living quar'~ers.
"Section 20.71-1. The license fee shall be ~25.00 per year
for every person, firm or corporation not having a fixed. place of
business within the city of Lynwood who engages in the business com-
monly known as "hostess parties," or "home parties," which, for the
purposes of this section shall include wherever two or more persons
are gathered together at any home, residence, or other place £or the
purpose of viewing a selection or display of goods, wares and merchan-
dise, or samples thereof, whieh are offered for sale, for immediate
or future delivery, in any quantity, irrespective of whether or not
the "hostess" or owner, occupant or other person in charge of the home,
residence, or place receives a commission, or other form of compen-
sation,
'~Section 20.81-1. The license fee for coin operated.
wash machines, dryers or other home appliances placed in apartment
buildings, motels, or hotels, for the use of the tenant shall be
$5.~0 per year per machine, with a maximum £ee of $20.00 at any one
location,"
Section 2. That Section 20.118 of the Lynwood City Code
is hereby repe~ a d
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed. to
certify to the passage of this ordinance, and to'cause the same to be
published in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed and circulated in the City o£ Lynwood.

17th day of November, i964, by the following vote;
Ayes: Councilmen Duncan, Ham, McMillan, Siokos, Smith.
Noes: Councilmen; None.
