AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL AND THE BOARD OF
ADMINISTRATION OF THE CALIFORNIA STATE EMPLOYEES'
RETIREMENT SYSTEM.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does ordain as
followst
Section 1. That a contract between the City Council of
the City of Lynwood and the Board of Administration, California
State Employees' Retirement System, is hereby authorized, a copy
of said contract being attached hereto, marked "Exhibit A," and
by such reference made a part hereof as though herein set out in
full.
Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Lynwood. is hereby
authorized, empowered, and directed to execute said contract for
and on behalf of said city.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30~
days after the date of its adoption, and prior to the expiration
of fifteen (15~ days from the passage thereof shall be published
at least once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general cir-
culation, published and circulated in the City of Lynwood and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in £ull force and effect.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said city held on the 6th day of October, 1964, and finally
adopted and ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council
held on the 20th day of October, 1964 by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Duncan,Finch,Ham, McMillan. Siokos.
