RESOLUTION 2022-67
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES
WITH THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF SCOTT COUNTY
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and operating under
the laws of the State of Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, the City requires assistance in the management of stray and abandoned animals; and,
WHEREAS, the Humane Society of Scott County is able and willing to provide such services at a rate of
$55 per incident; and,
WHEREAS, the Humane Society of Scott County has provided acceptable services in the past; and,
WHEREAS, the City wishes to enter into an Agreement with the Humane Society of Scott County for said
services; and,
WHEREAS, the funding source for this action is # 001-190-6413 - Animal Control.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa, that:
Section 1: The Mayor is authorized to enter into an Agreement with the Humane Society of Scott
County for services regarding stray and abandoned animals.
