ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBDIVISION (b) OF SECTION
20,81 OF LYNWOOD CITY CODE BY PROVIDING THAT
IN ADDITION TO PAYING THE REQUIRED LICENSE FEE,
CIGARETTE VENDING MACHINES ARE REQUIRED TO BE
INSIDE A BUILDING„ STORE OR BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT,
BE IT ORDAINED:
Section l, Subdivision (b) o£ Section 20,81 of Lynwood
City Code is amended to read as follows:
"(b) For cigarette vending machines, five dollars per
year for each machine, In addition to the payment of the required
license fee, the following provision shall prevail with respect to
all such vending machines:
"l. Such cigarette vending machines shall be
inside a build.ing, store or business
establishment,"
Section 2, The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed.
to certify to the passage of this ordinance, and to cause the same
to be published. once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed and published in the City of Lynwood,
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said city held on the 21st day o£ April, i964, and finally adopted.
and ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held on
the 5th day of May, 1964, by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Finch, Ham, McMillan, Siokos,
Noes: Councilmen: None,
Absent: Councilman Duncan.
