RESOLUTION 2022-63
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN AMENDMENT TO MSA'S PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER PHASE II PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and operating under
the laws of the State of Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, on several occasions, staff and City Council directed MSA Professional Services to investigate
complaints of unsecured manholes in the Sanitary Sewer Phase II project; and,
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services did investigate and secure all manholes in the Sanitary Sewer
Phase II project; and,
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services has submitted an amendment to its Professional Services
Agreement in the amount of $1,000 to reimburse the fees associated with these actions that were above
and beyond the original agreement; and,
WHEREAS, City Council wishes to reimburse MSA Professional Services for these expenses; and,
WHEREAS, the funding source for this amendment is 301-210-6407 Capital Improvements - Engineering.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa, that:

MSA's proposed professional services agreement amendment in the additional amount of
$1,000 is approved.
The Mayor is authorized and directed to sign the amendment.
