AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYPSWOOD APPROVING
THE A;SNEXATIpN OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE
CGLTNTY OF LOS AITGELES LYING ON THE SOUTH SIDE
OF LAVINIA AVENUE BETWEEN ATI,ANTIC AVENUE AND
THGi SOl`~ AVENUE.
WHEREAS, pizr::u&nt tn ,+.,hE Annexat~on of lir.inhabited Terri-
tory Act of 19~„ as 3mendedy there was pre~ented to the City Council
t~f the City c?f Lynv~ocd, Ca~i£ornia, a petition dated October 8, 1962,
efecuted by Albert Sprecher, et al, reqtze,^,ting the anne~cation of
ce;tain prcper~y lying on the :,outh side of Lavinia Avenue between
At'ant,.c A•~enue and Thora~~_r, Aver.ue, in the County of Los Angeles,
State o~` Cai_ifo:rn~.ay ar,d he~ein~f'ter particularly described, and
WHEREAS, the ~^ity Ccuncil of said city b~ Resolution
Noa 62~68, adopt~d or. the 16tPi day of October, 1962y duly gave notice
a2 and °ixed the 4th day oP December, 1962 at 7030 p,m, in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood, California, as
the day, hour, and place when and where any person owning real property
in such territory so proposed to be annexed and having any objections
to the proposed annexation might appear before said City Council and
shoim cause why such territory should not be so annexed, and
WHEREAS, said resolution u~as published in the Lynwood Press,
a ne~rspaper of general circtzlation, printed and published in the City
of Lynwoods and also in the Herald American, a newspaper o£ general
circulation published outside of the City of Lynwood but in the County
in which is loceted the terr~.tory proposed to be annexed, and
WHEREAS, written notice of said proposed annexation was
mailed to each person to whom land within the territory proposed to be
annexed was assessed in the last equalized County assessment roll at
the address sho~an on said assessrnent roll, and
WHEREAS, no protests war~e £iled, and
WHEREAS, said City Council approves the annexation of said

ordain aa follows;

immediate prEServatlon of publie peace, health and safety in the City
af Lynwooda and ehall be in ef'f'ect itnmediately upon adoption. The

efficiently administer the said newly annexed
territory, it must have sufficient revenue to do
soy that the city and count,y real property taxes
