ORDINANCE N0. 460, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE N0.
601, BY ~9MENDING SECTION 2-A OF SAID ORDINANCE
N0. 601, TO DELETE THE FIRST SENTENCE THEREOF
WHICH REQUIRES OFFICIE~.L MEETINGS OF THE
RECREATION COMMI3SION BE HELD AT THE LYNitiT00D
COMMUNITY CENTEFt, &!ND FURTHER AMENDING ORDINANCE
N0. 460 TO ADD A NEW SECTION THERETO, BEING
SECTION 2-B,
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does ordain as
follows:
Section l. City Ord.inance Numher 460, as amended by
Section ~-A of Ordinance Number 601, is amended by amending said.
Section 2-A to read as follows:
"Section 2-,~: A regular meeting of the Recreation Commission
shall be he1d. on the fourth Tuesday of each and every month at 7:30 p.m.
The Recreation Commission may hold such other meetings as it may from
time to time prescribe in aecordance with this ordiiiance, its rules
and regulations, and parliamentary procedure."
Section 2. City Ordinance Number 460 is amended. by adding
Section 2-B thereto to read as follows:
"Section 2-B: Any appointee member of the Recreation
Commission shall automatically be deemed to have resigned from the
commission, and his office as a member of the commisaion shall auto-
matically be vacated in the everlt that any appointee member of the
commission fails to attend two consecutive regular meetings of the
Recreation Commission unless such failure to attend is:
"(a) Excused. by prior action of the commission, recorded and.
noted in the minutes of the commission.
"(b) Resulting from illness or other unavoidable or excusable
cond3tions, and the City Council notes and excuses such absence and the
reason therefore in the minutes of the first regular meeting of the
eity Council following notice of any such absence to the Council."
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to
certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same to be
published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed and circulated in the City of Lynwood.

said. City held on the 17th day of October, 1961, and £inally adopted
and ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held on
the 7th day of November, i96i, by the following vote:
