AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING
ORDINANCE N0, 410, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCES
NUMBERED 535 AND 583, RESPECTIVELY, BY ADDIN~
THERETO A NEW SECTION TO BE DESIQNATED AS
SECTION 2-B OF SAID ORDINANCE, TO PROVIDE THAT
MEMBERB OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION MUST BE
RESIDENTS OF TI-IE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
The City Council of the City o£ Lynwood does ord.ain as
follows:
Section l. ~rdinance No. 410, as amended by Ordinances
Numbered 535 and ~83, respectively, ie amended. by add.ing thereto a
new section to be designated as Section 2-B, and to read as £ollows:
'~Section 2-g, Members of the Planning Commission must be
residents of the City of Lynwood, and any member of the Planning
Commission ehall automatically be deemed. to have resigned.from the
Commission, and his ox her of£ice as a member of' said Commission
shall automatically be vacated upon said member having ceased to
be a resident of the City of Lynwood."
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and d.irected
to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same
to be published onee in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed and circul&ted in the City of Lynwood,
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on the 5th day of September, 1961, and finally adopted and
ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held on the
19th day of September, 1961, by the following vote:
Ayes; Councilmen Duncan, Ham, Rowe.
Noea; Councilman None.
Abaent: Counailmen Finch, der.
