AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING
ORDINANCE NQ, 460 OF SAID CITY AS AMENDED BY
ORDINANCE N0, 601, BY ADDING THERETO A NEW
SECTION TO BE DESIGNATED AS SECTION 1-A TO
PROVIDE THAT MEMBERS OF THE PDBLIC PLAYGROIIND
AND RECREATION COMMISSION MUST BE RESIDENTS OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD~
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does ordain as
follows:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 460, as amend.ed. by Ord.inance No.
601, is amended. by ad.d.ing thereto a new aection to be designated as
Section 1-A, and to read ae follows:
"3ection 1-A. P~Iembers of the Public Playground and
Recreation Commiseion must be residents of the City of Lynwood. and
any member of the Public Playground and Recreation Commission shall
automatically be d.eemed to have resigned from the Commission, and hj.s
or her office as a member of said Commission shall automatically be
vacated. upon said member having ceased to be a resid.ent of the City
of Lynwood.."
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby ord.ered and directed
to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same
to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general
airculation, printed and circulated in the City of Lyriwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on the ~jth day of September, i961, and finally adopted. and
ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held on the
19th day of September, 1961, by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Duncan, Ham, Rowe.
Noes: Couneilmen ~o~~~_, . .. _
Abaent: Councilmen Finch, Pend.er.
