AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA
REPEALING THE LAST PARAGRAPH OF SECTION 5 OF
ORDINANCE N0. 616 OF S14ID CITY,
It is the intention of the City Council of the City of
Lynwood to require water meters to be eventually installed on all
water service connections outside the corporate limits of the City
of Lynwood, but having in mind that said City may soon acquire by
purchase a considerable number of unmetered water services outside
said corporate limits and that some period o£ time may elapse before
said meters can be installed, the City Council of the City o£ Lynwood
does ordain as follows:
Section l. The last paragraph of Section 5 of City
Ordinance No. 6l6 which reads as follows: "No flat rate water
services sha11 be permitted outside the City limits." is hereby
repealed and with the exception of the paragraph quoted, Section 5
of City Ordinance No. 616 is hereby reenacted.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be pub-
lished once in the Lynwood Press, a weekIly newspaper published,
printed. and circulated in the City of Lynwood, California.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on the 17th day of January, 1g61, and £inally adopted
and ordered published at a regular meet3ng of said Council held. on
the 7th day of February, 1961, by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Duncan,English, Finch, Pender, Rowe.
Noes: Councilmen None.
Absent: Councilmen None.
