AN ~RDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWODD AMENDING
ORDIN9~NCE N0, 706 OF SAID CIT'! BY .ADDING A
NEW SECTION 9 THERETO AND RENUNBERING SECTION
9 14S SECTION 10.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood d.oee ordain as
follows:
Section 1. That a new Seetion 9 shall be added to Ordinance
No. 706 to read as follows:
"Section 9. Any person, firm, or corporation, or .ssoe:iatS.on
o£ persons violating any of the provisions of this ordinance is guilty
of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a
fine of not to exceed Five Hund.red Dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment
in the City or County Jail for not to exceed. six (6) months, or by both
such ~'ine and. imprisonment,
"Each such person, firm, or corporation, or association of
peraons, sh~ll be d.eemed. guilty of a sepa~~ate offense for each day
during any portion of which any violation of any provision of this
ordinance is committed, continued, or permitted k~y such person, firm,
or corporation, or association of persons, and is puni:+hable therefor
as provided by this ord.inance."
Section 2, That Section 9 of Ordinanee No, 706 shall be
renumbered Section 10.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to tha ad.option of
this ordinance and shall cause the r3ame to be published once in the
Lynwood Press, a ne~~spaper of general ci~~culation printed and c_rcu-
lat2d in ~he City of Lynwood.
First read at a rEgul:ir meetin~ of the City Council of said
C~ty held on the 6th day of December, ig6o, and finally adopted and
ord.ered published at a regular meeting of said Couricil held on the
20~h day of December, lg6o, by the .following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Duncan, English, Finch, Pender Rowe
Noes: Councilmen None.
