AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE REQUIREMENTS OF
SECTION 13522 OF THE PENAL CODE RELATING
TO TRAINING OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does ordain as
follows:
Section l. The City of Lynwood declares that it desires
to qualify to receive aid from the State of California under the
provisions of Chapter 1 of Title 4, Part 4, of the California
Pena.l Code.
Section 2. Pursuant to Section 13522 of said Chapter l,
the City of Lynwood while receiving aid from the State of California
pursuant to said Chapter 1 will adhere to the standards £or recruit-
ment and training established by the California Commission on
Peace Officer Standards and Training.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed
to_cer~Y£y to the passage of this ordinance, and to cause the same
to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general
circulation printed and published in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 15tn day of November 1960 , and
finally adopted and ordered published at a regular meeting of said
Council held on the 6th day of December 19 60, by the follow-
ing vote;
Ayes: Councilmen Duncan. En~lish Finch pender Rowe.
Noes: Councilmen
Absent: Councilmen

City of Lynwood, and ex-officio clerk of the Council

adopted by the City Council of the City of Lynwood
and that same was passed on the date and by the vote
therein stated.
