Chairman's announcements Mr. Skidmore reminded the Board about Brewster Conservation Day on July 11,2015 and mentioned that he was looking for coverage from 12-2. Mr. Ford will be there from 12-2. 2. Discuss and approve the Private Well Regulations This was brought back to the Board after changes were made. The Board made a few suggestions for changes. Motion: Approve the Private Well Regulations with the changes. Motion: Annie Dugan Second: Joe Ford Vote: 5-0-0 Action: Motion carried 3. Discussion of Town Counsel's review of Brewster Regulation Restricting the Sale and Use of Tobacco Products & Nicotine Delivery Products Mr. Skidmore told the Board that Town Counsel had done a final review of this and determined that it would be ok for the Board to adopt it if they wished. However, it may not be necessary since the whole State will eventually be going to the purchase age of 21. He stated that he is not in favor of changing the age to 21. Dr. Chaffee stated that she believes this is a public health issue and the age should change to 21. Ms. Dugan and Dr. Scherzo agreed with Dr. Chaffee. Mr. Ford stated that he is not in favor of changing the age to 21 at this time. Motion: Approve the draft regulation and schedule a public hearing. Motion: Annie Dugan Second: Dr. Chaffee Vote: 3-2-0 Action: Motion carried 4. Discuss the Small Wastewater Treatment Facility Regulation Mr. Skidmore explained to the Board that when this regulation was adopted, the State did not have its own regulations. They do now and it may be redundant to keep the Brewster regulation. The Board wanted to hear what George Heufelder had to say. They would like to keep this regulation until the CWPC regulation is brought forward and until they hear from Mr. Heufelder. 5. Discuss and approve minutes from 4/28/2015 There were a few changes made. Motion: Approve minutes with changes. Motion: Joe Ford Second: Annie Dugan Vote: 5-0-0 Action: Motion carried 8. Topics the Chairman did not anticipate Mrs. Ice told the Board that new signatures were needed on the Deed Restriction regulation due to a date change. Informational items were noted. Meeting adjourned at 7:45PM
