AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ESTABLISH-
ING A BUILDING SETBACK LINE ON THE EASTERLY
SIDE OF WRIGHT ROAD IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does ordain as
follows:
Section 1. That there is hereby established a building
setback line of ten (10) feet on the easterly side of Wright Road
between a line 152 feet southerly of and parallel to the produced
southerly line of Lot 2 of Slausson Tract, as per map recorded in
Book 3, page 3~8 of Miscellaneous Records in the Office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, and a line
measured at right angles to the easterly line of Wri~ht Road,
distant thereon 793 feet northerly from the southerly line of Lot 4
of the Downey and Hellman Tract, as per map recorded in Book 3,
page 31, of Miscellaneous Records in the office of said County
Recorder.
Section 2. That no building or structure shall be
erected, placed, or maintained between the easterly line of Wright
Road and the setback line set forth in Section 1. of this ord3nance,
and the Building Inspector of the City of Lynwood 3s hereby directed
to not issue any building permit to construct any building or
structure between the lines above specified. The word "structure"
is hereby defined as to include any post, sign, fence, box, machine,
device, or other obstruction.
Section 3. The C3ty Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall cause such ordinance to be published
once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated within said City of Lynwood and which
newspaper is hereby designated for that purpose.
