RESOLUTION 2022-75
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MSA PROFESSIONAL SERVICES'
STATEMENT OF FINAL COMPLETION AND OWNER'S ACCEPTANCE OF WORK,
RELEASE OF CLAIMS, AND CONTRACTOR'S APPLICATION FOR PAYMENT #4
FOR THE SANITARY SEWER PHASE II PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and operating under
the laws of the State of Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services has submitted a Statement of Final Completion and Owner's
Acceptance of the Work, a Release of Claims, and a Contractor's Application for Payment #4; and,
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services states that the construction provided for pursuant to contract
documents including all approved amendments and change orders has been completed to the best of
their knowledge and is in substantial compliance with the provision of the contract documents; and,
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services recommends that the work be accepted, along with the release of
claims; and,
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services has prepared Pay Application #4 and recommends payment to
VisuSewer for $15,643.55, which constitutes final payment; and
WHEREAS, the funding source for this action is #610-815-6499 - Sewer Contractual Services.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE, IOWA,
THAT:

The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute the Statement of Financial Completion
and Owner's Acceptance of the Work.
The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute the Release of Claims.
The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute Pay Application #4 dated September 29,
2022, in the total amount of $15,643.55.
City staff is directed to pay VisuSewer $15,643.55 for Pay Application #4.
