RESOLUTION NO. 81 -2011
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ELECTING TO PAY CON-
SOLIDATED FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT AND
COUNTY FREE LIBRARY ALLOCATIONS AND RE -.
QUESTING REALLOCATION OF PROPERTY TAXES
FOR 1980 -81 FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City is encompassed entirely
within the territory of the Consolidated Fire Protection District
of Los Angeles County and of the Los Angeles County Free Library;
and
WHEREAS, the City desires to assume financial responsibility
for services provided city residents by the Fire Protection District
and by the County Free Library,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Temple City elects, pursuant to Section 43073(a) of the
Government Code, to pay to the Consolidated Fire Protection District
of Los Angeles County and to the Los Angeles County Free Library the
amount equal to the amount the district and library would derive from
its share of property tax allocations applicable to all property
within the incorporated limits of the City of Temple City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, pursuant to Section 43073(b) of
the Government Code, the County Auditor is requested to reallocate
property taxes due to the Consolidated Fire Protection District of
Los Angeles County and the Los Angeles Free Library within the in-
corporated limits of the City to the City for the 1980 -81 fiscal year.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of August, 1981.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting
held on the 4th day of August, 1981, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen - Atkins, Dennis, Gillanders, Tyrell, Merritt
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen -None
