AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING' ORDINANCE NO. 1979-83 OF THE MUNICIPAL ,
. CODE OF TIFFIN, IOWA, B CHANGING THE USE REGULATIONS OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
FROM R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO R-2 DUPLEX
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN, IOWA:

SECTION I. Purpose: The purpose of this ordinance is to amend
the zoning' map of -the zoning ordinance 1979-83 of the Municipal Code
of Tiffin, . Iowa, by changing the use .classif'icatiQn of the real estate,
described. in,Section II, from R-1 Single -Family Residential to R-2
Duplex zone. '
SECTION II: Amendment. the lot hereinafter described. shall be
zoned as follows:
! From R-1 Single Family. Residential to R-2 Duplex, the following1lot:
Commencing at a point at the'West line of Grant Street in Tiffin,
Iowa, where said West line Is intercepted by the North line of
Third Street, thence N 120 feet to the point of beginning; thence
West 88.5ryfeet;°- thence-North_125 7 feet thence East 88"5 feet:to

SECTION III. Authorization: The mayor or other appointee of
the City Council is hereby authorized and directed to change the zoning „
map of"the City of Tiffin, Iowa, 'which was duly recorded in Book 19,
page 53, Records of Johnson County, to conform to this amendment upon
final pasage, approval and publication. of the ordinance as provided
by law.
SECTION IV. Certification: The City Clerk is hereby -authorized
and directed to certify a copy of this ordinance to the County Recorder
of Johnson County, Iowa, upon final passage, approval and publication„
as provided by law.
SECTION V. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the' provisions of this ordinance, are repealed.
SECTION VI. Saving Clause.'; If any section, provision or part of
this ordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional,
such adjudication shall` not affect the' validity of the ordinance
as a whole, or any section, provision, or part.' thereof not' adjudged
invalid or unconstitutional.

SECTION VII. Effective Date; This ordinance shall be effective
