` AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1979-83 OF THE MUNICIPAL a
CODE OF TIFFIN; IOWA,, BY CHANGING THE USE REGULATIONSVOF CERTAIN PROPERTY
` FROM-R-1 SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO TC, TRATLER COURT ZONE..
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL` OF THE• CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA: ` '
SECTION I. Purpose: The purpose of this ordinance'- is to amend't ,
the zoning map 'of the zoning 'ordinance 1979-83 of the Municipal Code
of Tiffin, Iowa, by changing the use classification of the real estate
described in Section II, from'R-1 Single Family Residential to TC,
Trailer Court Zone.
SECTION` II. Amendment. The lots hereinafter described shall be -
zoned as follows:
From R-1 Single Family Residential to TC, Trailer Court, the following
lots:
. Commencing at a point on the South line of Sec. 28, Twp. 80 N.', '
R. .7 West- of the .5th P.M. , 1257 feet West of the Southeast corner ,
of said Section, from which point an elm tree is 15 inches in
diameter bears West 21.2 feet; thence North at right angles to %. .
said South section line 503, feet to. the South line of the right of
way of the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad Company; •
thence along South line of said right of.way Westerly to the West
line of the' SE 1/4 of said Sec. 28; thence South along said line,
to the Southwest corner of said SE 1/4 Sec. 28; thence East along ,
the South line of said Sec. 28 to, the place of ,beginning.
And,
A part of the Chicago, Rock '-Island and Pacific Railroad Company's
station grounds in the S 1/2 SE 1/4 of Sec. 28, Twp. 80 N.,, R. 7
West of the ,5th P.M. , in the Town of Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa,
more particularly described as follows:. Commencing at the inter- ,
section of the West line of the said SE 1/4 with the, centerline of
the said Railroad Company's main tract; thence South alongfsaid
West line.150 feet' to 'the.point of beginning; thence Easterly
along a line Southerly from and parallel with the centerline of '
said Railroad Company's main track 1500 feet; thence North along a
a line,.;parallel with the West line of the said SE 1/4, 100 feet, .
; more or less, to a line 50• feet Southerly from and parallel with
the centerline -of said Railroad Company's Main track;' thence Westerly '
along last said parallel line 1500 feet to the West line of said
SE 1/4; thence South 100 .feet, more' or less, 'to the point of
. beginning. • ` `
SECTION III. Authorization. The mayor or other appointee of the
City Council is hereby authorized and dierected to change`{'�•t�o} zoning°map

of the City of Tiffin, Iowa which was duly recorded in Book 19, page 53, }
' Records of Johnson County, to conform to this amendment upon the final 1
' passage; approval and publication''of the ordinance as provided by law.
SECTION IV. Certification. The City Clerk is hereby authorized .
and directed to certify a copy of this ordinance to the County Recorder
of Johnson County, Iowa, upon final passage, approval and publication
as provided by law.
SECTION V. Repealer All ordinances or parts of ordinances °in
. conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are repealed.
SECTION VI. Saving Clause. If any section, provision, or part c
of th'r,-,.iliordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional,
such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a
whole, or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid'
or unconstitutional.
) , SECTION VII. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be effective
after its final passage, approval,andpublication, as provided by law.

was then read and duly considered by the Council. Its' adoption was
