A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 2022-33:
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT FOR A REVIEW OF FUNDS
AND ACCOUNT BALANCES AND EXPENDITURES FOR FY21 AND FY22
WHEREAS, the Cty of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and
operating under the laws of the State of Iowa, and;
WHEREAS, the City passed Resolution 2022-33, A Resolution Approving a Contract for a Review
of Funds and Account Balances and Expenditures for FY21 and FY22 on the 10th day of May
2022; and,
WHEREAS, the scope of work for the contact was misidentified as being for FY21 and FY22, yet
the forensic accountant both verbally and in his contract, contracted for the review of FY21 only;
and,
WHEREAS, due to significant delays and issues obtaining records, the timeline for this project
was significantly extended and additional hours expended; and,
WHEREAS, the contractor, Chris Fennelly, wishes to be reimbursed for those extra hours.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE,
IOWA, THAT:
Section 1. The scope of work for this project is revised to FY21 only and does not include
FY22.
Section 2. The timeline for this project is extended; it is anticipated that this presentation will
occur during or about the first meeting in December 2022.
Section 3. The total sum allowable for this project shall not exceed $8,400.
