RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MSA PROFESSIONAL SERVICES'
STATEMENT OF FINAL COMPLETION AND OWNER'S ACCEPTANCE
OF THE WORK FOR THE BICENTENNIAL PARK EMERGENCY
ACCESS ROUTE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and operating under
the laws of the State of Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services has submitted a Statement of Final Completion and Owner's
Acceptance of the Work for the Bicentennial Park Emergency Access Route project; and,
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services states that the work between the Owner and the Contractor has
been completed to the best of their knowledge and belief and is in substantial compliance with the
provisions of the contract documents; and,
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services recommends the final payment authorized hereto is made a part
here of and is a complete and accurate summary of the work performed in accordance with the contract
documents; and,
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services has calculated the total cost of the work as completed as
$140,680.30; and,
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services recommends that the Statement of Final Completion is accepted;
and that the final payment is made; and,
WHEREAS, this action requires no funding source.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE, IOWA,
THAT:
Section 1: The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute the Statement of Final Completion and
Owner's Acceptance of the Work.
