ORDINANCE NO. 1982-108 -
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1979-83. OeTHE s.
MUNICIPAL CODE OF TIFFIN, IOWA BY CHANGING THE USE REGULATION`
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM A-1 AGRICULTURAL TO R-1 SIGNLE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY.•OF TIFFIN, IOWA:

_ SECTION I. Purpose. The-purpose`of this ordinance is to
amend the zoning map of the Zoning Ordinance No. 1979-83 of the
Municipal Code ,of Tiffin, Iowa by changing the use classification .-
of the real estate described in Section II, from A-1:-Agricultural
to -R-1 tingle-Family Residential. -

SECTION II. .Amendment. The tract of land` hereinafter .y
x described shall be' zoned as follows: v ,':`,,a :}; c e, :.
- , From A-! Agricultural to R=1 Single-Family Residential,, the
following tract of°,land: - ,

. "A tract of land located in the northwest quarter of Section 28,
' Township 80 North; Range 7 West'of the 5th Principal Meridian,
Johnson County, Iowa, being more "particularly described to-wit:
Commencing at the center of said Section 28; 'thence N12°46'W,
261.53 feet to the point of beginning; thence N 13°21'W, 449.37
feet; thence S 87 29'E, 166.14 feet; thence S 0°00'E; 423.43 feet;
thence S 84-°03'W, 62.57 feet to the point of beginning. Said " r k
tract of land containing 1.13 acres-inclusive of and subject to .

SECTION III. Authorization., tThe mayor or other appointee of
a the5City Coucnil is hereby directed to change the zoning map of
the City of Tiffin, Iowa which was duly recorded in Book 19, page 53,
Records of Johnson County, to conform to this amendment upon the
` final passage, approval and publication as provided by law,
SECTION IV. Certification. The City Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to. certify-a copy of this ordinance to the County ,
Recorder of Johnson County, Iowa, upon final passage, approval and
publication as provided by law. - ,
SECTION V. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances'
, in conflictgwith the provisions of this ordinance are 'repeale'd. ,
SECTION VI. Saving Clause. If any,section, provision or
part of this ordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or unconsti-
tutional such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the
ordinance as a whole, or -any section, provision orpart thereof

SECTION VII. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be effective'
