E. FY16 Budget Review:Giovanna Venditti, Director of Finance and Operations, reviewed the current Eddy
and Stony Brook Elementary School expenditure reports, highlighting variances from last month. Due to
expenses for two unanticipated out of district placements, the Stony Brook budget is currently in the
negative. Mr.Telman reminded the Committee we will be applying to the Department of Education for
financial relief under the Circuit Breaker Program.
F. FY17 Budget: Superintendent Conrad indicated tonight's review is of Version 1 of the FY17 Budget for
Stony Brook and Eddy Elementary Schools. Mr. Conrad is aware of some savings in each budget that are
not reflected in Version 1,$13,885 in the Stony Brook Budget due to a retirement and some technology
savings, and$$2,014 in the Eddy Budget due to technology savings. Mr.Conrad also asked the
Committee to keep in mind that salaries make up the majority of each budget, and for FY17 increases
include a contractual 2.5%COLA increase for staff members as well as staff moving salary lanes. Principal
