Town of Leesburg to Hold Public Input Meeting on Parking
January 21 meeting to focus on downtown parking topics, including street
parking and the Town’s municipal parking garage
Leesburg, VA (January 9, 2015) – The Town of Leesburg will be holding a public input session on
January 21 at 6:30 pm to discuss parking in the downtown area. The input session will be held
in the lower level of Town Hall, and will focus on specific topics of downtown parking. Those
topics will include, but not necessarily be limited to:
Whether or not to remove of street meters and institute a time restriction
Whether to continue charging for parking in the Town’s municipal parking garage
The Town Council would like to receive public input before making any decisions on these
topics. The public is encouraged to attend, and although the focus will be on the topics above,
all comments and suggestions are welcome.
After the input session, the Town Council will be discussing the matter again at a future work
