RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH MSA PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR CITY
HALL PARKING LOT REVISIONS AND BIDDING
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and operating under
the laws of the State of Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, the City authorized MSA Professional Services to complete the engineering of the City Hall
Parking Lot Reconstruction project (MSA Project # 10876098) in Resolution 2021-21 in May of 2021; and,
WHEREAS, 18 months have lapsed from the time MSA Professional Services completed the engineering
on this project, and several updates and changes have been proposed that should be reviewed; and,
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services has proposed to create a project manual, modify technical
specifications (if necessary), prepare the project for bid, post to Quest (a plan -room website), respond to
requests for information, lead the bid opening, tabulate and review bids, and process contracts; and,
WHEREAS, the City wishes to engage MSA Professional Services to consider minor modifications to the
project engineering and to execute the bidding process; and,
WHEREAS, the funding source for this action is 301-210-6499 Capital Improvements -- Contractual
Services.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE, IOWA,
THAT:
Section 1, MSA Professional Services' Professional Service Agreement for MSA Project# 10876098 is
approved, and the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute said Agreement.
