ORDINANCE NO. 1985-128
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1979-83 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF TIFFIN, IOWA, BY REPEALING SECTION 15
OF THE ORDINANCE AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF SECTION 15 AS
OUTLINED BELOW PROVIDING FOR A NEW M-1 INDUSTRIAL ZONE USE
CLASSIFICATION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN, IOWA:
SECTION I. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is
to amend the present City of Tiffin Ordinance No. 83 by '
repealing Section 15 of the Ordinance and enacting in lieu
thereof Section 15 of the Ordinance creating a new M-1 use ,
classification.
SECTION II. Repeal : Section 15. of Ordinance No. 83 is
hereby repealed.
SECTION III : Enaction. The following Section 15 is
hereby enacted as part of Ordinance No. 83:
Section 15. M-1 Industrial Zone Uses. M-1 Industrial
Zone use rates shall be as follows:
1. Those uses as outlined under -C-1 Commercial
2. Automotive repair shops including both mechanical
and atobody repair.
3. Electrical sub-stations
SECTION IV. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance
are repealed.

SECTION V. Saving Clause. If any section, provision
or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or
unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the
' validity of this ordinance as a whole, or any section,
provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
SECTION VI. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be
in effect after its final passage, approval and publication
as provided by law.

The Mayor then declared Ordinance No. 1985-128 duly ~

The foregoing ordinance entitled AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 83 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF TIFFIN, IOWA
BY REPEALING SECTION 15 OF THE ORDINANCE AND ENACTING IN
LIEU THEREOF SECTION 15 AS OUTLINED BELOW PROVIDING FOR A
NEW M-1 INDUSTRIAL ZONE USE CLASSIFICATION WAS PUBLISHED ON '
THE __18th DAY OF April , 1985, by posting copies
thereof in three public places within the limits, two of
which are the mayor' s office and the post office.
