A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE TREE TRIMMING PROJECT IN
AREA 2 FISCAL YEAR 1994 -95 AS COMPLETE
WHEREAS, on March 5, 1991, the City Council approved the renewal of
a four year Tree Trimming contract with California Western Arborists, Inc. for FY 1991 -92
through FY 1994 -95 as a four year cycle project for a total contract amount of $628,435.00;
and
WHEREAS, the work in Area 2, the fourth and last area of the four year
cycle started in October 1994, and was satisfactorily completed in December 1994 with a cost
of $112,862.00; and
WHEREAS, the four year cycle Tree Trimming Project started in
FY 91 -92 in Area 3, and is now concluded with the work being completed in Area 2.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council accept the Tree Trimming Project in
Area 2 of the Four Year Tree Trimming Project, FY 1994 -95 as being complete in accordance
with contract documents.
