A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT OFFER FOR
STREET DEDICATION OF A PORTION OF LOTS 224
AND 225, TRACT NO. 2551, IN THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, AS PER MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 24,
PAGES 78 -80 INCLUSIVE OF MAPS, IN THE OFFICE
OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF SAID COUNTY
WHEREAS, the street widening and construction of the
public parking facility at 11228 Long Beach Boulevard require the
easement dedication of an 9 feet wide strip and a corner cutoff; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
determined that the easement is necessary for the convenience,
welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of
the City shall be served by accepting said easement; and
WHEREAS, street dedication has been analyzed and approved
by the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The City Council accepts the dedication of said
easement for street purposes from the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency,
as described below:
That portion of Lots 224 and 225, Tract Number 2551,
in the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as per map recorded in Book 24 Pages 78 -80 of
Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County,
more closely described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 225; thence
distance along the southerly line of said Lot S75 36
81.00 feet to a point on said southerly line, said point
being the beginning of a curve tangent to said southerly
line, concave northeasterly having a radius of 15.00 feet
and a central angle of 90 00'00 "; thence northeasterly
along said curve an arc distance of 23.56 feet to a point
on a line parallel to and 4.00 feet east of the westerly
line of Lots 224 and 225; thence distance along said
parallel line N14 24'W 17 feet to a point on said parallel
line in Lot 224, said point being 18.00 feet from the
northerly line of Lot 224 measured at right angle, said
point also being the beginning of a curve tangent to said
line, concave northeasterly having a radius of 23.00 feet
and a central angle of 90 00'00 "; thence southeasterly
along said curve an arc distance of 36.13 feet to a point
on a line parallel to and 9.00 feet north of the southerly
line of Lot 225; thence distance along said parallel line
S75 36'W 73.00 feet to a point on the easterly line of said
Lot 225; thence distance along said easterly line of
Lot 225 S14 24 9.00 feet to the point of beginning.

Section 2 . This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
