A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH COTTONBELAND /ASSOCIATES FOR THE PREPERATION OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD'S CONSOLIDATED PLAN

WHEREAS, The Department of Housing and Urban Development una-�r Sectinp 24 CFR
Parr 91 has finalized new rules for the submission of the federally funded and entitlement
grant programs offered to the City; and
WHEREAS,the newrul esvill amend the City's existing regulations with that
consolidate the federally funded and entitlement grant programs and require a single
consolidated application, the Consolidated Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is expected to recei federal funds of
$2,153,000.00 for Community Development Block Ggrant and $481,000.00 for HOME
Investment Partnership funds for fiscal year 1995/96; and
WHEREAS, CottonBeland/Associates has submitted a proposal for services
which is commensurate with the needs for the required community development activities;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the Consultant
CottonBeland/Associates is qualified by training andexperienceto perform the needed
services;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Lynwood enter into an Agreement with CottonBeland/Associates.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager execute the above- referrenced
Agreement on behalf of the Ci ty of Lynwood.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 7th day of February, 1995
