A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT OFFER FOR
STREET DEDICATION OF A PORTION OF LOT 292,
TRACT NO. 2551, IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
AS PER MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 24, PAGES 78 -80
INCLUSIVE OF MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY
RECORDER OF SAID COUNTY
WHEREAS, the street widening and construction of the
public parking facility at 3320 Sanborn Avenue require an easement
dedication of an eight (8) foot wide strip on Sanborn Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
determined that the easement is necessary for the convenience,
welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of
the City shall be served by accepting said easement; and
WHEREAS, street dedication has been analyzed and approved
by the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The City Council accepts the dedication of said
easement for street purposes from the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency,
as described below:
That portion of Lot 292, Tract 2551, in the City of
Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per
map recorded in Book 24 Pages 78 -80 of Maps, in the office
of the County Recorder of said County, described as
follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said Lot 292; thence
distance along the northerly line N75 36'E 31.00 feet to an
angle point; thence distance along the northerly line of
said Lot S84 E 88.40 feet to the northeast corner of Lot
292; thence southerly along the easterly line S6 W a
distance of 8.00 feet to a point on the easterly line of
Lot 292, said point also being on a line parallel to and
8.00 feet south of the northerly line of Lot 292; thence
distance along said parallel line N84 W 86.96 feet to an
angle point, said point being on a line parallel to and
8.00 feet south of the northerly line of said Lot; thence
northwesterly along said line S75 36 29.56 feet to a
point on the westerly line of Lot 292; thence distance
northwesterly along said westerly line N14 24 8.00 feet
to the point of beginning.

Section 2 . This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
