A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF THE
AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY CITY MAPS THROUGH AN INFORMAL
BIDDING PROCEDURE
WHEREAS, the currently used City aerial maps were
prepared in February, 1989; and
WHEREAS, since that time many changes have taken place
in the City due to new construction and development; and
WHEREAS, the City aerial maps are an important source
of information for planning, designing and construction purposes;
and
WHEREAS, the aerial photography service to produce said
map is estimated to cost $8,000; and
WHEREAS, said service can be acquired more economically
and expeditiously through an informal bidding process; and
WHEREAS, under Section 6 -3.13 of the Lynwood Municipal
Code, Council can authorize acquisition of service through
informal bids by a 4/5 vote.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council authorizes staff
to acquire the aerial photography City maps through informal
' bids.
Section 2 . This resolution shall take
effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 91st day of
March
1995.
