A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING IMPLEMENTATION OF A FIRST AID CPR TRAINING
PROGRAM FOR LYNWOOD RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES.

WHEREAS, the Lynwood Fire Department has thirty (30) fire
department personnel that are certified to instruct CPR and first
aid; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is situated in a seismic prone
region; and
WHEREAS, to best prepare the City for any emergency situation
be it natural or acts of man, and;
WHEREAS, the costs per student will be approximately $3.00
per certification.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Council hereby authorize the
implementation of a First Aid CPR training program for Lynwood
residents and businesses.
