ATTENDEES:
Committee members present: Ron Fitzwater, Jon Hensley, Erin Wiseman
Staff present: Steve Crowell, Gail Strope, Margie Mueller, Ryan Moehlman
Others Present: Nicole Roberts with News Tribune.
Meeting came to order at 7:35 a.m. by Councilwoman Erin Wiseman. The October 3, 2018 minutes were
approved with a motion by Councilman Jon Hensley and second by Councilman Ron Fitzwater. The motion
passed 3-0.
Chamber of Commerce attendance at council meeting: Erin Wiseman, Mayor Tergin and Ron Fitzwater are
going to a meeting with Randy Allen to discuss economic development.
Reimbursement Rates and Rules for the Personnel Policy Manual: Presented by Gail Strope. Request to
amend section 19-9 in the Personnel Policy Manual to increase the reimbursement rates for meals and include
the IRS wording requiring an overnight stay for reimbursement. A motion was made by Councilman Ron
Fitzwater, and seconded by Councilman Jon Hensley to move to full council. The motion passed 3-0.
Appointments: Presented by Gail Strope. The committee made three new appointments. A motion to approve
was made by Councilman Jon Hensley, and seconded by Councilman Ron Fitzwater. The motion passed 3-0.

There being no further business, Councilman Ron Fitzwater made the motion to adjourn which was seconded
by Councilman Jon Hensley. The motion passed 3-0 ending the meeting at 7:55 a.m.
The next scheduled meeting will be held at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 in the Boone/Bancroft
room at City Hall.
