A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO
THE CITIZEN PARTICIPATION PLAN
WHEREAS, in 1988, the City of Lynwood adopted a Citizen
Participation Plan, to comply with the Department of Housing and
Urban Development (HUD) Rules and Regulations; and
WHEREAS, on January 5, 1995, HUD adopted new Rules and
Regulations consistent with HUD's new Consolidated Plan; and
WHEREAS, in order to remain in compliance with HUD's
new Rules and Regulations, the City of Lynwood must amend its
Citizen Participation Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood, does hereby find, order, determine and resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council adopt and approve,
amendments to the Citizen Participation Plan.
SECTION 2. That the amended Citizen Participation Plan
shall remain in effect until superseded by a new plan or until
the City no longer participates in the Housing and Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, HOME Program and /or other
federally funded programs.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18th - - -- day of
April, 1995.
