A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING FUNDING FOR THE 1995 UNITY
FESTIVAL /JULY 4TH CELEBRATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to offer a program
combining the Unity Festival and the July 4th Fireworks Celebration
to be held on Tuesday, July 4, 1995; and
WHEREAS, funding for the Unity Festival /July 4th
Celebration must be arranged in advance of the 1995 -96 fiscal year
budget; and
WHEREAS, the funding for the Unity Festival /July 4th
Fireworks Celebration would cost $21,000.00; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes funding in the
amount of $21,000.00 for the Unity Festival /July 4th Celebration.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED THIS 2nc1 day of May, 1995.
