A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROPRIATING $5,800.00 FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED
GENERAL FUND BALANCE TO THE PARKS AND PLAYGROUND
DIVISION (01 - 4775).
WHEREAS, The State of California Department of Education has
offered a competitive grant program providing funds for the planning of
before and after school programs; and
WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood Recreation & Community
' Services Department applied for $5,800.00 to implement an after
school program for junior high school age youngsters at Hosler
Junior High School and the Teen Resource Center; and
WHEREAS, On March 29, 1995 the State of California
notified the Recreation & Community Services Department that its
request for funding had been approved; and
WHEREAS, Funds must be expended no later than June 30,
1995; and
WHEREAS, The State of California will be remitting a
check to the City of Lynwood in the amount of $5,800.00 on or about
the week of May 22, 1995;
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council authorizes the
following:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes the following
appropriation:

Unappropriated General Fund Balance
$5,800.00
To:
Parks and Playgrounds
Division (01 - 4775)
4105 $1,700.00
4212 $4,100.00
Section 2. The City Council authorizes the City
Mana er or his designee to implement the necessary financial
adjusvments.
