A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE NEGOTIATIONS FOR
THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN NECESSARY RIGHT -OF -WAY,
AND THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND ACCEPT
THE GRANT DEED, FOR THE CORNER PORTION OF THE
PROPERTY AT 11625 LONG BEACH BOULEVARD,
LONG BEACH BOULEVARD AND LOUISE STREET INTERSECTION
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 5 -5084 AND 5 -5162,
FY 1994 -95
WHEREAS, the widening of Long Beach Boulevard at 11625
Long Beach Boulevard requires the right -of -way acquisition of a
corner cutoff at this location; and
WHEREAS, said right -of -way acquisition is estimated to
cost $7,000; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to complete this
project and has determined that the best interest of the City
shall be served by acquiring said right -of -way.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council authorizes staff
to negotiate for the acquisition of said right -of -way.
Section 2. That the City Council authorizes the Mayor
to execute the agreement and accept the grant deed for said
right -of -way.
' Section 3 . This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of
June 1995.
