A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT OFFER FOR
STREET DEDICATION OF A PORTION OF PARCEL 2 OF
PARCEL MAP 6496,IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, COUNTY
OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS PER MAP
RECORDED IN BOOK 72, PAGES 94 -95 OF PARCEL
MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF
SAID COUNTY
WHEREAS, development at 10650 Alameda Street in the City
of Lynwood, was required to dedicate a twelve (12) foot wide strip
along Santa Fe Avenue south of Seminole Street, to the City for
street purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
determined that the easement is necessary for the convenience,
welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of
the City shall be served by accepting said easement; and
WHEREAS, street dedication has been analyzed and approved
by the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The City Council accepts the dedication of said
easement for street purposes from Earle M. Jorgensen Co. as
' described below:
That portion of Parcel 2 of Parcel Map No. 6496 in the City
of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of California as
per map filed in Book 72 pages 94 and 95 of Parcel Maps in
the Office of the County Recorder of said county lying
easterly of the northerly prolongation of that certain
course in the easterly line of said Parcel 2 shown on said
map as having a bearing and length of "North 7 0 21'35" East
250.30 feet.
Assessors No. 6207- 035 -013
Section 2 . This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
