A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO J.H. RENTAL
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $84,463.50, FOR THE
PENN STREET PAVEMENT RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT,
PROJECT 5 -5168, FY 1994 -95, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Penn Street Pavement Reconstruction
Project, Project No. 5 -5168, is scheduled for completion during
FY 1994 -95, and is funded by HUD; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on June 27, 1995, and
J.H. Rental, Inc. was the apparent lowest bidder at $84,463.50;
and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this
company has the necessary experience for this type of project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That the contract for the Penn Street
Pavement Reconstruction Project, Project No. 5 -5168, be awarded
to J.H. Rental, Inc. for its low bid of $84,463.50.
Section 2 . That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute the agreement between the City of Lynwood and
J.H. Rentals, Inc.
Section 3 . This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
