' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF THE
CURRENT SPECIAL ASSISTANT INCUMBENT TO THE
POSITION OF ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, Personnel Rules and Regulations, Rule IV,
Section 4 Reclassification, provide for an employee to be allocated
to a more appropriate class when the duties of which have changed
materially so as to necessitate reclassifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has identified the need to
reclassify the current Special Assistant incumbent assigned to the
City Manager's Office to the appropriate class of Assistant City
Manager; and
WHEREAS, certain necessary and vital daily functions will
be carried out on behalf of the City Manager as a result in making
this change; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to make
this change.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the
City of Lynwood
does find and resolve
as follows:

Section 1.
Reclassify Special Assistant
incumbent to the
position of Assistant
City Manager as provided in
Personnel Rules
and Regulations, Rule
IV, Section 4.
Section 2.
This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its
adoption.
