A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT OFFER FOR
STREET DEDICATION OF A PORTION OF LOT 61,
TRACT NO. 921, IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,COUNTY
' OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS PER MAP
RECORDED IN BOOK 18, PAGES 106 -107 INCLUSIVE OF
MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY
RECORDER OF SAID COUNTY
WHEREAS, the owner of 2723 Fernwood Avenue has agreed to
dedicate a seven (7) foot corner cut section at the northwest corner
of Penn Street and Fernwood Avenue to the City for street purposes;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
determined that the easement is necessary for the convenience,
welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of
the City shall be served by accepting said easement; and
WHEREAS, street dedication has been analyzed and approved
by the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
' Section 1 . The City Council accepts the dedication of said
easement for street purposes from De Diaz Guillermina as described
below:
That portion of Lot 61, Tract 921, in the City of Lynwood,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map
recorded in Book 18 Pages 106 -107 of Maps, in the office of
the County Recorder of said County, as described as
follows:
The southeasterly half of the southerly 7.00 feet of the
easterly 7.00 feet of Lot 61.
Assessors No. 6170 - 017 -006
Section 2 . This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of
August , 1995.
